A pre-owned Land Rover Discovery is a very capable vehicle since it benefits from the company’s decades-long experience in building vehicles that can venture where no others can go. Three powertrains to choose from
The Land Rover Discovery has been offered with three different powertrains over the last few years, all of which can already be found under the hood of pre-owned models. The standard engine up to the 2020 model year was a supercharged 3.0L V6 that delivered 340 horsepower and 332 lb-ft of torque. This engine was replaced by a turbocharged 3.0L inline-six-cylinder engine starting in the 2021 models. Helped by a mild-hybrid system, this powertrain generates 355 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque. The new standard engine is another mild-hybrid powertrain that uses a turbocharged 2.0L four-cylinder powertrain to increase the Discovery’s fuel efficiency while still providing 296 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. For the lowest fuel consumption and the highest pulling power, a turbocharged diesel V6 engine generating 443 lb-ft of torque was also available in the Discovery until 2020.
Comfort for up to seven passengers
A pre-owned Land Rover Discovery is a vehicle that can transport up to seven passengers in comfort due to its generous cabin and its numerous comfort and convenience technologies. For example, the Discovery can be equipped with a four-zone automatic climate control system, a 400 W Meridian premium sound system, an 11,4-inch infotainment system touch-screen, heated and ventilated front seats with a massaging function, and a heads-up display system.
